As an expert in Coaching, you have many ideas that you need to get out of your head and on paper. Your ideas can be great for e-marketing and repurposing. Repurposing the information that you already have will allow you to stay in front of your leads. Save time, don’t create content from scratch. It’s important that you nurture those relationships until your prospects are ready to move further down your sales funnel.

Customizing Data Fields in Infusionsoft

Infusionsoft is set-up with standard contact fields that are listed as the default data fields. But, we can customize that!

Did you know that you are allowed to add up to 100 custom fields to a person’s record? A custom field stores one piece of information about a person that you can update manually or the system will update automatically through an Infusionsoft web form.

To further illustrate, I prefer “clients” over the default data field “customers”, so I have customized that field to now read “clients”.

Tip: If you already have a contact database stored in another program, then I suggest that you create custom fields before you import your contact list into Infusionsoft. You will want to make sure that the information is imported in the correct fields in Infusionsoft.

The “Brain” of Infusionsoft

Last week I challenged you to tell me what you thought was the “brain” of Infusionsoft. I didn’t receive a correct answer.  I hope as you keep reading, there will be an “aha” moment for you.

First let’s think about it. In order for Infusionsoft to execute actions, we need to first feed data to the brain of Infusionsoft. The data is stored in the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) part of Infusionsoft.

The CRM is the brain of Infusionsoft. This powerful database “houses” your contact information for each client in a separate record.

Think of the human brain. Our brain sends signals to our body parts to complete an action. The “Brain” of Infusionsoft, which is the CRM sends a signal to the system to complete an action.
